Volunteer Here!

Are you able to come play ping pong, board games, and hang out with middle school students from 3:15-5:15 on Tuesdays? We need volunteers in the Youth Room! Sign up here.

Youth ministry is the work of helping the teens of our community know and love Christ and his Church.

It takes an investment of the heart - not just from families with teenagers or a few staff members, but truly from the whole 'village' that is our parish community.

You do not have to be an extrovert.

You do not have to be a "young adult".

You do not even have to be cool. You just have to love the Lord and love teenagers. No matter your spiritual gifts, the Lord can use you to play a role in shaping these young lives. Whether you have 2 minutes a day or 2 hours a week, every adult who invests in youth ministry makes a crucial difference!

We need you. If your strength is in intercessory prayer, behind-the-scenes help with event planning or making delicious snacks... that work matters.

Or maybe... maybe the Lord is calling you out into the 'deep'  - that is, stepping into the teen's lives.

Active relational ministry to adolescents can be one of the most demanding and rewarding apostolates a parishioner can commit to. It takes time, energy, and commitment to build relationships with young people: which means entering a 'foreign culture', earning their trust and gaining the right to speak into their lives, and walking beside them as they learn how to live as disciples of Christ.

If you think God might be calling you to serve in youth ministry, let's talk.
