6th Sunday of Easter 2016

Today in his homily, Fr. Steve talks about the way that the Holy Spirit has guided the Church into truth, from the first days until now. From our first reading, Acts 15, we hear about the Council of Jerusalem, through which the Holy Spirit worked to clarify a point of disagreement within the Early Church. Today, the Magisterium (Teaching Office) of the Church serves as the infallible interpreter of the Word of God, and we can trust the Holy Spirit's work in and through the Church about matters of faith and morals.
